
Dan Carns began his career in the financial services industry in 1990. A graduate of the University of Arizona in 1992, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. Dan first began his career with a nationally based financial group, concentrating on investment and insurance services for individuals and business owners. In 1996, he moved his practice to Tucson, AZ along with his wife, Wendi, where she attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine. High school friends, Dan and Wendi have been married since 1995. They now have a daughter, Katherine, who was born in September of 1998 and a son, Ryan, who was born in December of 2002.
Dan has regularly taught educational seminars and retirement workshops since 1997, such as Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement and Lifelong Financial Security, which were offered through a local community college and private groups. He has taught for private groups, and he has been sponsored by educational, business and community organizations.
Dan moved with his wife and family to Cape Girardeau, Missouri in July of 2004 to build their businesses and raise their children. Having completed her residency at the University of Arizona Medical Center, his wife, Dr. Wendi Carns, joined Cape Care for Women. Dan formed and now operates a privately owned independent financial services firm, Carns Financial Group, which was established in July of 2004. The goal of Carns Financial is to offer unbiased, objective advice. Our strategies are comprehensive and highly personalized for each client, whether they are planning to retire soon or have already reached financial independence.
